Well in that case, then I'd like to read a few Loras chapters! That would be a good scene. _________________ "The only difference between the saint and the sinner is that every saint has a past, and every sinner has a future." -Oscar Wilde

Personally I think that there is something more going on behind those luxurious curls and almost androgonous sex appeal...... _________________ "Americans [have] the right and advantage of being armed, unlike the citizens of other countries whose governments are afraid to trust their people with arms."

I would love it to be Sandor, but my bets are on Loras.

Loras is the to ASOIAF that Legolas was to the LOTR films. _________________ "Americans [have] the right and advantage of being armed, unlike the citizens of other countries whose governments are afraid to trust their people with arms."

Loras' being disfigured would make him more appealing. Is it too much to hope he's bitter and vengefull?
Sandor Clegane is alive. When a charactor dies there is no mystery about it, we see them die, and things often happen to thier bodies.

Legolas is a lot better than Loras though... but I see what you mean, both pretty boys and good fighters. _________________ "The only difference between the saint and the sinner is that every saint has a past, and every sinner has a future." -Oscar Wilde

My vote is for Loras. Now that his face is burned, he could be an interesting character. Seeing things from the point of view of a Tyrell would be interesting.
I think Sandor is more interesting when we don't get see what is going on in his head. I would rather not see him as a POV. For a character to be an interesting POV, he will need to be go through some sort of character growth. And I can't see Sandor changing.
I think Melisandre is better left in the dark, much Varys and Littlefinger. It is a more interestng story when we don't know they are up to. Sill her as a POV could help build up some tension. She could have some secret contacts, and a plot brewing.

*applaudes to SotM*
very well put man, I'm with you all the way. Also, I'm sure that after the early hint about his fate in AFFC, we'll see more of him in ADWD. _________________ Students arrive at university confident that they know nearly everything, and they leave years later certain that they know practically nothing. I'd like to see Loras as a POV , but honestly I'd like Sandor better. I see what SoTM is saying about POV characters but Sandor is one of my favorite in the whole series, I really cant see myself not liking a chapter of his. And I also disagree about him not changing, I think it couldnt be more clear that he's not the person he used to be before going to the monastary island,at least thats what Mr Martin wants us to believe. _________________

Perhaps Sandor will eventually be a POV? I'd love that, because I think he is undergoing a lot of changes since he almost died. The idea of Loras as a POV is starting to appeal to me... _________________ "The only difference between the saint and the sinner is that every saint has a past, and every sinner has a future." -Oscar Wilde

It's hard to say.
I don't think it's Sandor. Even if he really is the guy in the monastery I don't see him starting a brand new storyline. If he has anything left to do it will likely be in the presence of another POV.
Melisandre is this mysterious red lady. Mysterious red ladies tend to be more mysterious if you don't know what they're thinking about. Still, Davos might be dead and then we'd need another character close to Stannis. But if Stannis stays in the north, he'll probably have Jon nearby so that may be fine.
Loras got burned badly and is in danger of dying. But then again, Bran fell and broke his back and look at him now. Being all burned up would just make him a more interesting character and as was noted before, with Cersei in jail we need another King's Landing character.
After thinking it over carefully I think that Loras is most likely, but I wouldn't entirely give up on Melisandre.
