i will hope Mel is out she will be too revealing in my opinion
i think a sandor one will spoil some of the mystery of sandor's fate
and since we really are missing a Tyrel POV i will go with Loras

Isn't Sandor dead? Wasn't rorge running around wearing Sandor's helmet in AFFC? _________________ "Americans [have] the right and advantage of being armed, unlike the citizens of other countries whose governments are afraid to trust their people with arms."

People think that Sandor is the cloaked man staying with the monks (or priests, can't remember) that Brienne came across in AFFC. Speculation of course, but I can't imagine that he's dead. I'd like a POV from him. _________________ "The only difference between the saint and the sinner is that every saint has a past, and every sinner has a future." -Oscar Wilde

Sandor would be great. But isn't ADwD about North and Dany so neither Sandor or Loras should really be there? _________________ And ofthen I wonder about the life

Sandor is my best guess of those 3, but I doubt that it will be any of them. Haven't given it much thought, really. I guess i should creep over to ran's voard and check out if i can find a thread about it _________________ Students arrive at university confident that they know nearly everything, and they leave years later certain that they know practically nothing. it has to be one of them since GRRM wrote | Quote: | | I'm adding some chapters from the point of view of one of the characters featured in the first lot of Ice & Fire miniatures from Dark Sword, a character who has never had a POV in any of the earlier books. |
and checking out the miniatures Link they are the three who did not have a POV yet, unless it is some unkown NW guy which i think is unlikely

Having Davos, Melissandre would be redundant. If Sandor is alive and actually living as a monk I cant see him starting a sole new storyline.
I'm going with Loras. With Cersei in jail, Tyrion across the Narrow sea, Sansa on the Eyrie, we lack a King's Landing character. And as someone said, we also lack a Tyrell character. Its the only big family without one so far.
If its true, it'll be interesting to see how he remember the Renly affair. He may confirm some "rumors". _________________

And here I thought it was no doubt about it and all of you vote on the other candidates!
It has to be Melisandre since the adwd is going to be set in the north and the east, Loras and Sandor are in the south. Yes I know GRRM has said that it maybe will be a small overlap with some affc PoVs in adwd but I think it is very unlikely these would be new ones. Especially since it seems like this PoV was unplanned, meaning GRRM first thought he could solve the scene/event through another PoV.
Why would Melisandre be redundant? There have been several PoVs in the same place several times before, in Winterfell and Kings Landing for example. And Davos is off in the south at the moment (and may even die if you believe the rumours in affc), leaving Jon the only PoV close to Stannis. And for how long will that last? I doubt they're going to sit in eachothers lap the entire book through.
And I don't think it's a problem with "she knows too much". There are ways to avoid that, we've had Ned's PoV and we still don't know if he really is Jon's father.
If Sandor and Loras have to show up as PoVs they would have done so in affc or will in the next book (which I can't remember the name of right now.)
Or it could be some unnamed nights watchman

Thats true Pex, I was thinking the same thing. Maybe in the next book.
For a north person, I think maybe it could be Osha, we havent heard from her or Rickon since the end of book 2
Edit: I didnt know it would be from those figurines only. I guess it will be Melisandre then _________________

Isn't Lorass at Dragonstone? So, it could be him after all. Only Sandor is unlikely, though not impossible. _________________ Students arrive at university confident that they know nearly everything, and they leave years later certain that they know practically nothing. It's more than likely going to be Melisandre. I don't see why he'd write one from Loras, unless he is going to get more interesting now that he is burned up? He always seemed like an empty headed fool. But GRRM could make him alright with his excellent writing. _________________ "The only difference between the saint and the sinner is that every saint has a past, and every sinner has a future." -Oscar Wilde
