I'm thinking of downloading it... is the narrator Roy Dotrice any good? I listened to a sample of the prologue and he did different voices, but I want to get someone else's impression on it.

I'm no friend of Dotrice's interpretation of many of the characters. the sex scene between dany and drogo is especially gruesome. I did get used to him though, and some people over at ran's board even seem to worship him

In that case, try some of the discrorld books. Both of Pratchett's regular narrators are excellent: Stephen Briggs and Nigel Planer
